A stock-index-style measure of European hiring: a constant basket of 354 employers tracked over the last 8 days (since 2026-06-30), indexed to 100. Because the basket is fixed, it shows like-for-like momentum — not companies newly added to coverage. The window lengthens as more history accrues.

Constant basket followed since 2026-06-30 (base = 100), so it measures like-for-like hiring momentum. Sector sub-indices use each company's GICS sector; small baskets swing more. Younger markets show a shorter window until their history accrues.
